Katy Lynn Taylor (born October 22, 1989) is an American figure skater.
Taylor was born in Houston, Texas to Thomas Keith Taylor and Tamalynn Kenimer. She has an older brother, Brennan. She has been skating since she was six years old. She trains at the Willowbrook Aerodome and the Sugarland Aerodome.
A surprise 4th place finish at the 2006 US National Championships earned her a spot at the Four Continents Championships in Colorado. Despite placing 2nd in both the short and long programs, Taylor earned enough total points to win, her first win on the senior tour. During both of these championships, Taylor mentioned her hopes of buying a pink Hummer. She was also the 2nd alternate to the 2006 Winter Olympics and the 1st alternate to the World Figure Skating Championships.
