Ken Wiwa

Ken Wiwa (born 1968, Lagos, Nigeria), also known as Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr., is a journalist and author. His book In the Shadow of a Saint is about his father, Nigerian activist and political prisoner Ken Saro-Wiwa.
Educated at Stancliffe Hall and Tonbridge School in England, in 1999, Wiwa moved to Canada, where he was a faculty member at Massey College and a writer for The Globe and Mail. In 2005 he returned to Nigeria where he continues to submit his column for the Globe and Mail.
In 2006, Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo appointed Saro-Wiwa as special assistant on peace, conflict resolution and reconciliation.[1]
