KKCO channel 11 is an NBC affiliate in the Grand Junction/Montrose market. KKCO is the top-rated news station in its market, ahead of competitors KJCT and KREX.
In September 2006, its DT2 subcarrier became the area's new affiliate for The CW Television Network.
However, despite The CW being available locally by local broadcasters, Denver's KWGN, the CW affiliate for that city, is still available in Grand Junction, at least through two low-powered repeaters in the area.
