Koceľ (also Kocel, Kocelj, Gozil, Chezil, Chezilo, Chezul, born ?, died 876) was second Prince of the Balaton Principality from 860/861 until 876.
He was son of Pribina, Prince of Nitra and his Bavarian wife. He received a Bavarian name Gozil, which he used in the Slavic form as Koceľ.
After the death of his father, probably in 861, he became the Prince of the Balaton Principality.
He played an important role in propagation of Christianity, when in 867 hosted at his seat in Blatnohrad (present-day Zalavár) Byzantine brothers Saints Cyril and Methodius. They established a religious school in Blatnohrad and educated around 50 students.
