Kribensis is the common name for a number of west african fish from the family Cichlidae [1]. Kribensis are popular aquarium amongst aquarium hobbyists [2].
The name kribensis is normally associated with Pelvicachromis pulcher, though it is also applied to Pelvicachromis subocellatus and Pelvicachromis taeniatus [1].
