Kristal-ASTRO, formed on January 24, 2000, is the sole operator of Brunei's multi-channel pay-television service. The company is a joint-venture between Kristal Sdn Bhd and Malaysia's MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd.
30 television and radio channels are available on the service and have been customised adhere to Brunei's religious, cultural and social values.
