Kristopher Letang (born April 24, 1987 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the QMJHL. He was drafted in the 3rd round, 62nd overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He was also a member of the gold-winning Team Canada at both the 2006 and the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. He was captain of the 2007 team.
He started the scored his first NHL career goal in his third NHL game, against the New York Rangers.
Kris is currently the captain of the Val-d'Or Foreurs in the QMJHL. He wears the number 58, as he did in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
