- La Castellana is Spanish for "the Castilian [woman]". As such it is the name of Paseo de la Castellana, a major street of Madrid, and Anís La Castellana, a Spanish brand of anise liquor.
La Castellana is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 59,102 people in 11,771 households.
