History
It has been told and retold by the elders of this barrio that its name Labogon comes from the tasty native dish most loved by its early inhabitants.
Since the people in this place were not only sea travelers but also sea masters in fishing, it happened one day that a fisherman caught s strange looking creature. They called this Pagui (Stingray).this looks like a flying saucer with a deadly hooked tail. This was cooked.
They found out tat with coconut milk (tono) added to it, this tasted more yummy. They called it labog. From this kind of cooking, Pagui with tono make Labog, this barrio then was called or christened after what made it famous
