Lea test
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Lea test is a special visual acuity test that is tailored for pre-school children. The optotypes (test symbols) are outlines of an apple, a house, a square, and a circle. The test was developed by Finnish ophthalmologist Lea Hyvärinen in 1976 and has been calibrated against Landolt Cs. There are several variants of the test, e.g. for near vision, distance vision, and contrast sensitivity.
