The League of American Theatres and Producers, Inc. is the national trade association for the commercial theatre industry in North America, representing theatre owners and operators, producers, presenters, and suppliers of goods and services to the Broadway theatre community. The League was founded in 1930 as the League of New York Theatres. It negotiates collective bargaining agreements on behalf of its members with theatrical unions and guilds, stages special events, and produces Broadway-wide consumer promotions such as Kids' Night on Broadway. The League has jointly presented and administered the Tony Awards with the American Theatre Wing since 1967.
