Legends of Terris
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Legends of Terris is a fantasy multi-user dungeon of adventure and text based discovery, created in 1993 as "Terris" by Paul Barnett and Doug Goldner. Originally running from a small cyber cafe in London, England on a small system named 'Dragon',[1] Legends of Terris is a custom code MUD, which has been expanded and developed over the years. In 1996, it was transferred to AOL UK.[2] At one point, Legends of Terris was the largest fantasy MUD in Europe.[3][4] As of 2007, there are still players who joined around 1995-1997 who still play today.[5] Around about 2000, the game moved from AOL to the internet and is played via a front end wizard.
