Lemony Cube. Born Russia 1884 as Yevgeny Zamayatin. Arrested duurng the 1905 revolution. Exiled twice. Wrote "We" in 1920 but the Russian authorities denied it publication and I had to do a runner. Moved to Berlin where I worked as a film maker under the name of Fritz Lang directing Metropolis in 1924. Then moved to the U.S and took on the name of F. Scott Fitzgerald writing The Great Gatsby and working for a time under the name of Dr. Eckleburg, one of the characters in the book.
