Talk:Liberal Collegial Group
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Name
Should this really be "Collegial"? In English, that suggests "pertaining to colleagues or collegiality". I assume that here the intent is to mean "pertaining to college" in the sense of secondary or post-secondary education. That should either be "collegiate" or just "college" (the noun can be used as an adjective: "college athletics" and "collegiate athletics" are pretty much interchangeable.) "Liberal Collegial Group" sounds like it would be a legislative caucus. - Jmabel | Talk 17:34, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- "Collegial" has nothing to do with college in Romanian language. ES Vic 22:11, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
So it is just from coleg? But this is a youth group. What an odd name... - Jmabel | Talk 05:17, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
