This is a piece of junk. The only time I've seen it used, the category is already there--but properly sorted, then this junk template comes along and undoes what the sort keys do. Gene Nygaard 18:59, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- These categories don't need to be sorted. Living people contains over 100,000 articles and is intended for machine reading. Date and year of birth missing are, likewise, maintenance categories for editors. Why on earth would any reader want to browse them?
- This template is to make it easier to add these cats to articles without the lengthy typing of the cat names. As such it would be better if it's subst'd although admittedly I haven't always bothered to do that. --kingboyk 14:15, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
