- May I suggest using new names such as LMS diesel shunter 1831 rather than just LMS 1831 as the latter isn't very informative. Our Phellap 12:34, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Its seems to be missing some information. I am sure that theChurchill 8F locomotive Company bought back an LMS diesel from France that had an interesting life. It was exported in 1940 as a WD loco capture by the Germans and then m,achined gunned by the RAF. It finished up in French service and then languished ina Parisian(I think)scrapyard.
