Lord Fairfax Community College

Lord Fairfax Community College, founded in 1969, is a Community College that services northern Virginia, with campuses in Middletown and Warrenton and most recently, a new center built in Luray. It has an attendance of around 5,500 students. It is one of the 23 schools in the Virginia Community College System. It is also one of the few VCCS schools to host intercollegiate men's and women's soccer teams. The Cannons played their inaugural season in 2005 and were coached by Shaun Broy. The Middletown campus hosts a wide variety of extracurricular organizations such as Student Government Association, Rotarary International, PTK, PBL, and others. A new building for the nursing and health programs is currently under construction.
