[edit] Biography
In the beginning of the 1990s, childhood friends Emilio Regueira, Christian Torres and Javier Saavedra began playing in small pubs and bars during the weekends in Chitre, province of Herrera, Panama. Soon these presentations caused controversy and the enthusiasm of the fans ascended so much that they waited hours before the presentation to get the best spots to appreciate the show and the outstanding clothes.
In 1993, Alvaro Acevedo, former drumer and current manager of Los Rabanes joined the team. This brought a reorganization that included demos and presentations in Panama City, which produced even a better impact than in the Central Provinces.
By the year 1994, with only one demo and one theme on the radio, Los Rabanes were the revelation of the yea. Later that year, they joined the first ever made "Rock Nacional" tour, which included all the rock bands from Panama. Los Rabanes made such a great work that they where the main show for the duration of the tour.
