Lou Palmer

Lou Palmer is an American radio announcer, best known for his work on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network.
Palmer worked as a pit reporter on the network, and interviewed the winner of the Indianapolis 500 from 1963-1987. From 1988-1989, Palmer served as the Chief Announcer for the Indianapolis 500. He left the network prior to the 1990 race.
Palmer served as announcer on the short-lived CART radio network in the mid-1990s.
