Lui Tuck Yew

Rear Admiral (NS) Lui Tuck Yew is a Member of Parliament in Singapore representing the Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency (GRC).
He is currently the Minister of State for Education.
Prior to his political appointment, Lui served as the chief of the Republic of Singapore Navy. He was a recipient of the Singapore Armed Forces scholarship in 1980. He was an alumnus of Anglo-Chinese Junior College and the current Chief Of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces, Major General Desmond Kuek Bak Chye was his junior.
