Madalena (pron. IPA: [mɐdɐ'lenɐ]) is a municipality in the western part of the Azores.
The municipality has a population of 6,184 inhabitants and a total area of 147.1 km². The density is 42/km². The municipality includes the western portion of the island of Pico. It is encircled almost entirely with the Atlantic Ocean except for the east, where it is bordered by São Roque do Pico and Lajes do Pico. The island of Faial and the municipality of Horta is 7 km to the west.
