Mammoet

Mammoet is a Dutch company specialised in hoisting and transporting heavy objects. It raised the Russian submarine Kursk. The company is experienced in the offshore sectors, and in placing large objects in the petrochemical industry. It is established in Schiedam, and has had there since 2001 an office building named De Bolder (= "The Bollard"). Mammoet also has offices in North America, South America, South Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Asia. The Director and owner of Mammoet is Roderik van Seumeren.
Its name is Dutch for "mammoth".
