- It is written in Catalan (the image comes from the Catalan Atlas) and as far as I can see it, it says:
- aquest senyor negre es apellat // mussa ??? senyor dels negres // de guinea(?) aquest rei es lo pus // rich lo pus noble senyor de tota // esta ??????????????????
- This black sir is called Mussa ???, lord of Guinea(?) negroes. This king is the richest and noblest lord of the whole...?????
