Mangalvedhe is a city and a municipal council in Solapur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the birthplace of Shri Jayatirtha also called as Teekacharya, one of the greatest saints of the Dvaita school of Vedanta.

Mangalvedhe has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 60%.
