Marguerite Jones Harbert (born 1924) is an American billionaire from the U.S. state of Alabama, with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion as of 2004. She inherited her wealth from her husband, John M. Harbert, who died in 1995. Their son Raymond J. Harbert manages the money, and he owns about 20% of the Mission Resources Corporation ([1]).
The Marguerite Jones Harbert Building at Birmingham-Southern College is named after her. [2]
