Mark's Work Wearhouse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mark's Work Wearhouse is a Canadian clothing retailer. First opened in Calgary, Alberta in 1977, it is owned by Canadian Tire. There are over 300 stores nationwide but the store also ships products internationally.
In Quebec, stores had briefly carried the name "La Ouerausse," a meaningless French-sounding version of the word "wearhouse," but they were rebranded as "L'Équipeur" in 1992. As of 2007, 39 stores operate under the banner L'Équipeur. They are the official retailer of the Montreal Alouettes football team.
The company traditionally sold work clothes for labour-oriented jobs, but expanded its selection in the 1990s to include casual clothing and sportswear as well.
