Mark Wilson (born June 5, 1984 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer. He currently plays in defence for Scottish Premier League club Celtic. He has represented Scotland at most youth levels up to under-21 and was recently under-21s captain before becoming ineligible due to his age.

He started his career with Dundee United whom he joined as a youth player, turning professional in 2000 and making his senior debut in January 2002. Considered one of the most promising young players in Scotland, Wilson was frequently linked with moves to the Old Firm and English Premiership clubs. On 16 January 2006, he joined his boyhood heroes Celtic for a reported fee of £500,000, signing a four-and-a-half year contract. On 13 September of that year, Wilson broke his foot in a Champions League match against Manchester United.

Wilson has appeared over thirty times for his country up to under-21 level, and featured in the 2001 UEFA under-16 Championship.^[1]
