The MDF are funds given by the sale or marketing department from a vendor to help a partner to sell its products or to market its brand. Also named "coop budget" as cooperative budgets. The MDF are paid as a percentage of revenue (or projected revenue) or paid on marketing expenses realised by the partner to market the vendor's brand. The recipient of funds can be a reseller or a distributor (wholesaler). The percentage or amount vary according business or products.
