- "Big Babe" tennis is a term used by commentators to describe the powerful, go-for-broke style of tennis that emerged in the 1990s. Mary Carillo, the American commentator, has often cited Mary Pierce as the first of that new generation to hit the ball so hard, so consistently. I am not sure you would find an article on it but it is a pretty well known term among fans. Candice 20:21, July 4 2005 (UTC)
