Hi! My pseudonym is Masamage. I am a college student, and was majoring in Computer Science until I took a slew of writing, literature, and political science classes all in a row. This blended catastrophically with the discovery of Wikipedia--I quickly realized that, if I'd rather sit around writing essays for fun all day, English might well be a better major. XP So now I'm just minoring in Computer Science. (Though I love combining the two. Interactive fiction, anyone? Web design?)
I'm really sensitive to grammar and wording problems, so the ability to just reach in and just fix them is completely addicting and kind of joyful. I keep wanting to do it to newspapers and such—which has recently become a reality, in the sense that I am now a writer for my university's newspaper! As a rule, I edit pretty much anything I see on WP that seems to want it. Grammar, spelling, style, and clarity are big things for me; I usually tackle such problems any time I see them.
I also work a lot on Sailor Moon articles, because I was crazy about it as a young teenager and this justifies the absurd amount of trivia still in my brain. :) I founded WikiProject Sailor Moon, and am really enjoying the experience. This puts enough things on my watchlist that I don't usually keep an eye on the other things I edit, unless they're extremely interesting to me (such as The Be Five).

Factoid: I have consistently and accidentally misspelled the word 'consistent' all over these articles. I find this strangely self-referential fact both embarrassing and hilarious. They've mostly been found and fixed, but if you see another, sweep the thing up and I'll cheerfully take the blame.

I work on images when I see a need. I've categorized somewhere between 50-100 orphaned ones, and uploaded some 50+ images to Wikipedia to date, plus two song samples. I also like writing fair-use rationales.
I've participated in a few WP:FAC discussions, as well as several for WP:AFD and scattered other discussions. Sometimes I nominate stuff for such discussion, which is the normal cause for my participation nowadays; in the past I sometimes just wandered over there, but sometimes people get really weird, so that scared me off. I clean up vandalism anywhere I see it, deliver warnings, and alert the admins when necessary. I also try very hard to be polite and encouraging to new editors, and I try not to be disgruntled when people are uncivil. Not perfect at that, but I'm getting better.

I have a good friend named Courtney Jones. Note the link is red! That's because she's an up-and-coming performer, and is juuuust short of being ready for Wikipedia. Look at her website, though--she's getting darn close. I want to write the article eventually, for three reasons: a) I want her to be that successful, b) it would be so much fun to tribute her like that, and c) it would be an entertaining challenge to be as neutral as possible. ^_^ So, yeah. Not a page I've created yet, but one I fondly hope to. I'm mentioning that here so that when I do, y'all can hold me accountable for being unbiased. :P
