Matthew Turner (footballer)

Matthew Turner (born 29 December 1981) is an English football striker who currently plays for Hednesford Town
Turner started his career at Nottingham Forest as a trainee. He was later sold to West Bromwich Albion in 2000. At West Brom he was unable to break into the first team, so he was initially loaned out to Herfølge, however he impressed during his time at the club, which led to them signing him full time. In 2004 he was sold to Hednesford Town.
Turner has represented England at under-16 and under-18 level.
