Mawana is a city and a municipal board in Meerut district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In the northeast side of town is Mawana Suger works. Many famous people have also been born here. One such famous personality of this town mohd Israil saifi. He comes from the village named Nidawli. It is on the way the holy river Ganga. This village of Israil saifi just 6km before the river. The main occupation of this town is the farming of sugarcane.
