Max Méreaux

Max Méreaux is a French composer. He was born in October 1946 at Saint-Omer, near Calais, where he took music lessons. After gaining his baccalaureate in philosophy he studied musical analysis at the Paris Conservatoire under Jacques Castérède.
Max Méreaux is both a music teacher and educational advisor. He takes a particular interest in "active methods", and has composed several didactic works.
He is known for his books on musical therapy written in collaboration with Dr. Léon Bence, and he has in addition written several chamber and orchestral works.
