McDonnell Attack

In chess, the McDonnell Attack is an attack against the Sicilian Defence distinguished by the moves 1. e4 c5 2. f4 e6. It is named for the 14th match game played in London in 1834 between Alexander McDonnell and Charles Louis Mahé de La Bourdonnais. Black won this game.
