Melanie Hill

Melanie Hill (born January 11, 1962 in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear) is an English actress.
She played Aveline in the last two series' of Carla Lane's Bread. She has also appeared in such programmes as The Bill playing Marie Carver (née Graham), Auf Wiedersehen, Pet playing Hazel Redfern, and Juliet Bravo playing Jean Simpson.
Melanie married English actor Sean Bean in February 1990. The couple share two daughters, Lorna October 1987 and Molly September 1991, but divorced in August 1997.
She attended RADA in London where she won the Vanburgh award.
She is a big fan of her hometown football team, Sunderland AFC and, despite her fame, is rumoured to still hold a season ticket in the East Stand of the Stadium of Light, according to local fanzine A Love Supreme.
