Melody Lacayanga

Melody Lacayanga is a Filipino-American dancer from Daly City, California. She was the runner-up in Season 1 of FOX's hit show So You Think You Can Dance, where she proved she could not just do jazz, but also hip hop, Jive and even Latin dancing. She was runner-up to Nick Lazzarini. They were best friends on the show, and still are. Melody began dancing at age 5 and at age 20, she moved from the Bay Area to Los Angeles to try to pursue a dance career.
