Talk:Messianic Jewish theology

[edit] Created article
I created this page to capture all Messianic Jewish theology that was bloating on Messianic Judaism in an attempt to reduce the page size for the mother article. Please continue expanding Messianic Jewish theology as it now has its own dedicated page. inigmatus 22:16, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'd recommend the addition of a section describing the differences and similarities between Messianic Jewish theology and Christian theology. The article presently seems to suggest both that a) Messianic Judaism is different than Christianity and b) some groups of Messianic Jews hold the same beliefs as some groups of Protestant Christians. These can't both be (strictly) true, so could someone clarify please? --Tim4christ17 talk 10:27, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Good idea. I'll stub it for now. ⇔ ChristTrekker 17:29, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Time to merge from Messianic Judaism
The theology section in the main article is way too long. -- Avi 19:45, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed! IMHO, any section that references a main article ought to be summarized in about 4 brief paragraphs at most. A "30,000 foot view" should be possible in 12 sentences. ⇔ ChristTrekker 23:11, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. That is why this article was created. inigmatus 02:39, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- I took a stab at it. It's still not real short, but it was a huge section to start with. I don't know that it could be reduced much more and still say anything significant about all the points. I also cleaned up this page, as the hierarchy seemed jumbled. ⇔ ChristTrekker 16:51, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- It's beautiful! Feel free to update the project task list. :) inigmatus 17:21, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
