Michael Mount Waldorf School

Michael Mount Waldorf School is unique as being the only Waldorf education K-12 learning institution in Bryanston, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.[1]
It was founded in 1960. It currently has 58 teachers and 570 pupils (298 boys, 272 girls), with approximately 26 pupils per class (2006). International recording artist Josie Field is an alumna.[2]
Situated on the grounds of Michael Mount Waldorf School is the Bryanston Organic Market, a country market established in 1976 as a fundraiser for the school. Today consists of over 120 stalls offering a wide range of arts, craft and consumables.[3]
The second Kgotla International Youth Conference was held at the school in 2005.[4]
