Mickie Henson, also known as Mickey Jay, is a professional wrestling referee who worked in World Championship Wrestling before signing with World Wrestling Entertainment in October 2005. He is the senior official of the SmackDown! brand.
Henson was left unemployed by The Invasion although he might have been released by WCW prior to it as he was not a member of The Alliance.
Henson came into the WWE as Mickey Jay, but changed to Mickie Henson most likely due to the former name's similarity to WWE Diva Mickie James.
Henson was hit in the head with a sledgehammer by Triple H at Backlash after he awarded a victory to John Cena. He was piledriven by Randy Savage at Bash at The Beach
Henson relocated from Key West, Florida to Tampa, Florida due to Hurricane Katrina.
On July 18, 2006; Henson made his debut as the ECW Brand's senior referee. Trading places on RAW with Marty Rubalcaba.
For whatever reason, Henson served as a SmackDown! Referee on the February 23, 2007 edition of WWE SmackDown!, refereeing a Falls Count Anywhere, Money in the Bank Qualifying Match between Kane and King Booker.
