[edit] Falsification on this page
Within the text now found in the section named "GFDL issues", two IP edits falsified the evolution of this talk page:
- The first changed the wording of a 'graph signed by a registered editor, and removed a pertinent sentence from a 'graph signed by another registered editor.
- The second removed two 'graphs signed by registered editors. (One of those 'graphs was the one previously shortened by one sentence.)

[edit] GFDL issues
The following 'graph is restored to its original form (the bold), eliminating the forgery (the struck-thru) effected in Revision as of 22:41, 2004 Apr 18 by User:205.188.116.19, but reformatted as to indentation. --Jerzy(t) 05:35, 2004 Jun 11 (UTC)
- This page is
adopted froma copy of the Disinfopedia page at http://www.disinfopedia.org/wiki.phtml?title=Michael_Johns. Is their copyright compatible with ours? RickK 03:30, 15 Apr 2004 (UTC)
How do we do that? With an uneditable link at the bottom of the page? Or with something here on the talk page? RickK 03:39, 15 Apr 2004 (UTC)
The following 'graph is restored (reformatted as to indentation) to this page, after
- the portion now shown in bold was removed without acknowledgement in Revision as of 22:41, 2004 Apr 18 by User:205.188.116.19, and
- the remainder including sig was removed in Revision as of 12:06, 2004 Apr 20 by User:152.163.252.39

- That, I think, is a problem that the copyright mavens here disagree about. If we copied their version, however, my feeling is that a link at the bottom of our article is a moral necessity, whether or not it's required by GFDL. Otherwise it's plagiarism. - Nunh-huh 03:44, 15 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- The frequent use of the word "helped" is not neutral in my eyes. Get-back-world-respect 13:53, 16 Apr 2004 (UTC)
[edit] In lieu of a User Talk: page for "Rob"
This will be terse because there is a limit to the Don't bite the newcomers policy.
It consists of suggestions to "Rob", the IP problem user who has been protecting his deathless prose by preventing Cleanup from running its course:
- Pick an unused name. (Rob is a pretty short even tho it might be free; something long enough not to give cause for resentment to others would be better.) Use the log on link to become a registered user, and stop editing as an IP. This creates opportunities, too numerous to enumerate just now, for overcoming the bad impression you have made.
- If you think no further attention via WP:CU is needed, make a comment to that effect there and/or here, and leave it listed there long enough for colleagues to have a chance to express their opinion on that.
- Bear in mind that it's not your article, and you are probably the editor least qualified to decide whether it has a PoV problem.
- Sign your messages using
-
- --~~~~
- instead of typing your name like a forger.

[edit] Removing from Cleanup
Original cleanup concerns appear addressed: Bush affiliation during Bush Presidency clear, and article largely void of POV. Removing this from cleanup and believe article is in good shape.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Editor (talk • contribs) 06:48, 11 June 2004 (UTC) & is restored to its natural chronological order by Jerzy•t 11:59, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
