Dear Mr. Garcia,
Thank you for finally answering me. You will find the answer to your question below.
Thank you again,

[edit] Your repeated vandalization of the "Judas Priest" page
Dear Mr. Garcia,
Enclosed below is a verbatim copy of an email I have sent you - to the address specified in your user page. I hereby request that you stop vandalising the "Judas Priest" article. The information we provided is accurate and relevant. Stop modifying it to suit your fantasies. Admins will be contacted and notified of your destructive and desruptive behavior. Please save yourself an additional banning. My email from 4/24/'05:
"Sir,
What exactly do you have against using the English language correctly and quoting history accurately? "Hugely" is not a word (if at all) belonging in an encyclopedia (even if it is an open one), and Robert Halford did not officially leave Judas Priest until 1993 - he actually collaborated with the band on the "Metal Works '73-'93" compilation. On the video by the same name Rob remained in pretty vague terms about his status in the band, leaving things open. The official reunion occured in June or July of 2003. If I have got my math correctly this is a bit less than twelve years. Please leave articles accurate and looking at least semi professional. Hoping for your understanding and future collaboration, Grim Reaper, www.jpfo.org"
THANK YOU!!!
P.S.
I have just noticed that this is definitely not the only article you are vandalizing, and that you have previously been banned. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM THIS BEHAVIOR LEST WE GET YOU BANNED AGAIN.
Thank You, Grim Reaper.
[edit] New New Order Album
Sugarcane is a name of a track on the new album, it looks likely Channel 4 in the UK messed up and jumped to conclusions, and as a result a lot of the rest of the media also did. New Order have never named an album after a track on it before... I'll leave it as it is now, but I'll be very very surprised if its really called Sugarcane. The release date has been confirmed for France at the very least, so I assume pan-European anyway.
Kiand 15:29, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I found the release date and title from here. -- Mike Garcia 15:37, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
-
- They would have got it off somewhere else, and so on back to http://www.neworderonline.com - a fansite where a Channel 4 Teletext employee who uses it messed up. The webmaster there is extremely embarrased that it appears he's started a worldwide rumour :-)
-
- We'll see in January or February when Amazon UK start taking pre-orders anyway. Kiand 15:49, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Mike. You don't move articles by copying text to a new location. You need to use the move feature. This loses all the history of the article. DCEdwards1966 18:21, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC)

You've been nominated for Adminship. --Dante Alighieri | Talk 02:04, Jan 22, 2005 (UTC)
- OK and what happens? -- Mike Garcia 02:07, Jan 22, 2005 (UTC)

- Well, you can either accept the nomination or not, then it goes to vote. --Dante Alighieri | Talk 02:48, Jan 22, 2005 (UTC)

- Yes, sir. I do accept! -- Mike Garcia 03:16, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)

- In the spirit of full-disclosure, let me be clear. I am not 100% certain that you are reformed. Frankly, I have some lingering doubts, on account of our specific history. Nevertheless, it is (perhaps surprisingly) an honest nomination that I have made. I would really like nothing more than to be proved wrong, and I can't think of a better way. You really HAVE conducted yourself well since you've been back, and I am beginning to think that I may, indeed, be judging you unfairly because of your past. But I'm willing to set aside all the past... almost everyone else here seems to be convinced of your reformation. I'll admit that I've baited you in the past, perhaps a passive-aggressive attempt at "revenge". I was (I'm sure you'll understand why, if you reflect) rather pissed off when Jimbo unilaterally unbanned you and then you didn't even see fit to apologize for your behavior. Frankly, that doesn't bother me anymore... your actions, it would seem, speak louder than words... and your actions are those of a legitimate contributor. It's just too damn pointless to stay mad... so, I'll try being friendly instead. :) --Dante Alighieri | Talk 08:13, Jan 22, 2005 (UTC)
Hey there. I just visited the RFA page. I didn't get a chance to vote, but I saw that Jimbo removed your nomination. To be completely honest, I would have respectfully opposed because I just don't feel completely comfortable at this point. Anyways, I guess the point for me writing here was to say kudos to you for reforming, and I really hope that you'll keep it up and maybe get nominated some time in the future. I'm sorry that it hasn't worked out for you yet, but I must say that I'm very impressed at how you've metamorphosized from a vandal to a great contributor. I really hope that you're not disheartened by this experience! -Frazzydee|✍ 02:10, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Just how old are you?
Let's see. You used to say you were 12. Then you said you were 14. And now you're 26? RickK 06:04, Jan 30, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Daniel Freeman
Hi, I see that you started the article Centinela Adobe. In says that the museum is dedicated to Daniel Freeman. I recently started the article about a different Daniel Freeman. This seems to be a clear case for disambiguation. I could move mine to Daniel Freeman (homesteader), but I have no idea to how to label your Daniel Freeman. What is he famous for? From the information in your article it seems like Daniel Freeman (real estate developer), would be the best choice. Dsmdgold 03:18, Feb 10, 2005 (UTC) PS There is a third Daniel Freeman who was Mayor of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. I guess he would be Daniel Freeman (politician).
- I just stumbled across the Centinela Adobe article and discovered the Daniel Freeman problem myself. Not knowing that this had been noticed I changed the link to Daniel Freeman (Inglewood), since that is what he is most famous for. Feel free to change it to something else. --Beirne 21:50, May 13, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] System of a Down
Mike, please stop reverting the edits to System of a Down, Hypnotize and Mezmerize. You have the wrong information and if you continue to vandalise these pages, I have no choice but to report you. MrHate 03:01, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)
- No, you're the one that does. Sorry. -- Mike Garcia 03:05, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- As I said before, cite some reliable sources and I might agree with you. Though as it stands, your only source was an unreliable incorrect website. I have sources from SOAD fan sites, blabbermouth.net and mtv.com, not to mention the print ad for Mesmerize that includes the April release date that ran in a national magazine. Show me a reliable source and I won't say another word. MrHate 03:25, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)
Hi Mike, I have protected the two album pages until I can figure it out. This will likely be on Saturday. Please be patient and I will try and resolve this. Thanks. Danny 02:45, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Mike, please bring your sources to Talk:System of a Down. We do not revert war on Wikipedia. Comments like I will not stop reverting you and there's nothing you're gonna do about it, how'ya gonna stop me? You're just like some IP address users. are not acceptable. Tuf-Kat 03:25, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)
Please respond at Talk:System of a Down so we can get those album articles unprotected. Thanks. Tuf-Kat 23:01, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] KROQ
I always lived in or near L.A. and i still listen to KROQ all the time, it is the only station I ever listen to. --AlexTheMartian 22:16, Mar 6, 2005 (UTC)
- I understand. I listen to it too because i'm somewhat located around L.A. -- Mike Garcia 22:48, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)
-
- Yeah, I listened to KROQ for over 6 years, and I just recently moved to the Westchester area of L.A. in the Fall. I live on the east side of the 405 near La Tijera Blvd., so the very east end of Westchester. I love 90's weekends on KROQ since the 90's is the decade I began listening to rock, so I will always be a fan of 90's music, just like middle aged people today are still fans of 60's. I love 90's weekends more then any other thing on KROQ. Sadly I never gone to any KROQ concerts, but I've been to concerts KROQ were at, like the Summer Sanitarium in '02 at the L.A. Coliseum (I should provide a picture for that article.) --AlexTheMartian 00:25, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)
-
-
- Yeah, the 90's are definitely great, so are the 80's? But, still I'm glad you know all the information of KROQ. -- Mike Garcia 01:32, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

-
- 80's? Well i am only 19 years old, so I was born in 1985. But I do love David Bowie, Depeche Mode, and The Cure. Just not as much as the 90's since I grew up durring the 90's. Also, Classic Rock would be my 2nd favorite major genre (I kind of like to think of all the rock/alternative/etc genres as part of one big genre that just has sub-genres.) --AlexTheMartian 03:01, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)

- KLOS and Arrow-93 are both rock stations in Los Angeles, California they have some music that came out in the year I was born. I'm only 21 years old, so I was born in 1983, though and also have some in the year my brother Joe was born. -- Mike Garcia 04:00, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Yeah, those are classic rock stations, but KROQ is modern rock station. I listen to Arrow 93.1 sometimes, they play stuff like Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. KROQ has one hour every weekday at noon where they play 80's music, its called Flashback Lunch where they play stuff durring that time that fall more into the 80's pop genre, rather then the traditional classic rock played on Arrow-93. For example durring that hour they play stuff like David Bowie, REM, old U2 stuff, Tears for Fears, The Cure, and Depeche Mode. Many of the stuff played durring that one hour is stuff that is not extremely popular, but used to be played on KROQ durring the 80's era of the station. They do sometime play popular songs of the time such as REM - It's the End of the World As We Know It, The Clash - Rock the Casbah, and David Bowie - Let's Dance. I noticed lately that some of the 90's music is leaking into that Flashback Lunch. They might play one song from the 90's on certin days. I would love it if from 4-5pm they had an hour of 90's Rock, so that way there is a morning talk show for your ride to work, 80's for your lunch hour, and 90's for your rush hour home. --AlexTheMartian 10:18, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dude, stop being bias against hip-hop music videos
I just notice that you deleted some of my entry lists on the List of music videos by year 2005. The list serious lacks hip-hop music videos. I'm not a hip-hop music fan. I'm more of a college rock person but still those videos are popular in Fuse and MTV2. They have some impact in American pop culture. In addition, MVDBase.com listed those videos that I mentioned have been appeared in the year, 2005. [1] I will revert back my changes with your edits. shhh... --Anonymous Cow 05:51, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] AMA Requests for Assistance
Good evening. You should be aware that two users have filed requests for assistance against you with the Wikipedia:Association of Members' Advocates; specifically, these requests are in regards to your edits on the pages for a pair of System of a Down albums, namely Hypnotize and Mesmerize, as well as the page for Ned's Atomic Dustbin. I've referred the users to User:Guanaco (not having been able to get into contact with User:Danny as well) on both of those issues, in the hope of settling them there. However, if the AMA receives any further requests for assistance regarding you, we will have little choice but to seek an ArbCom injunction pending dispute resolution. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Wally 00:09, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- We've received another complaint. Unfortunately it was received via your request; however, that does not change the issue. Unless you can explain yourself in the next day, I'll have to ask for an injunction. Wally 01:25, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Heph
Michael, do not, I repeat, do not re-add Hephaestos to the Missing Wikipedians list. He himself has told me that he is not "missing" and he himself removed himself from the list just four days ago [2]. BLANKFAZE | (что??) 05:16, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I apologize for that. I just thought he was not coming back again. -- Mike Garcia 22:48, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi Michael. Please don't leave any more comments on Hephaestos's page. Thanks. Danny 17:20, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Go With the Flow
Mike, you've added the template {{cleanup-rewrite}} to the article Go With the Flow, but you haven't indicated any reasons on its talk page. Could you please go there now and fill in what you suggest for the article? If the template points to the talk page, there ought to be something there.
Thanks, RadRafe 18:32, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Changed it (the template). -- Mike Garcia 18:34, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Mike. Some people have been complaining that you have done more than three reverts in one day to an article. I see they complained about it above. Please do not do that any more. If there is a problem with any article, please ask me first and I will try to help. They can ban you for 24 hours for violating the three revert rule, and I do not want that to happen. Please let me know on my talk page that you saw this and understand. Danny 01:41, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, well I would really hate to banned again and I would just like to tell you that it was the worst thing that ever happened to me in the past. -- Mike Garcia 03:02, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Mike. Good. Then please be very careful about reverting something more than twice. If you think it needs to be reverted again, please ask someone else to do it. It may take a few hours, but no one is allowed to revert more than three times a day. Danny 10:36, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- To clarify Danny's statement a bit, current prevailing wisdom is that a revert is as defined at Wikipedia:Revert - that is to say, restoring any part of an article to an earlier version. Also, a day is defined as a 24 hour period, so if you do two reverts before you go to bed and two when you wake up, that's likely to be taken as a violation. Snowspinner 18:16, Apr 3, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Bleed Like Me
Mike, I don't want to see another edit war on this. I protected the article and the anonymous gave a clear explanation of his edits. You haven't explained why you keep reverting them. Please do so and hold an honest discussion on why you think your version is better. I will not accept just keeping quiet and then blindly reverting the article as soon as I unprotect. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 11:52, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- This isn't going to get you anywhere, is it? Please, Mike, don't get into an edit war again or I'll just have to protect the article again. Just explain why it's so important that some information in the article should be suppressed. Do you dispute it? --Tony Sidaway|Talk 22:57, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- He seems to be at it yet again, and making edit notes that sound like he thinks he owns the article and can order everybody else around. *Dan* 21:38, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Guadalcanal Diary and Wikilinking Band Members
Hi, glad to see someone writing about Guadalcanal Diary. As I indicated in my edit history, I knew the band back in the day and bought their records from the first. One thing that I feel is important is that we not wikilink band member names as a matter of course. Nothing gets to VfD faster than "Rhett Crowe was the bass player in Guadalcanal Diary," nor should anything go to VfD faster. Unless you are already aware of substantial accomplishments of the members of the band outside their work in the band, please don't invite the proliferation of empty articles. Geogre 12:59, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Santana
Hello! I see that you've added the latest album to the list. Could you have a look at the rest and see if I've missed anything out? I'm sure that there are compilations that aren't there. What do you think to adding a list of singles? I'm in no position to create it, and it might be a bit over the top I suppose.
I'd also like to start an article on his brother, but it'll have to wait until I have more information. I quite like Malo, but it's almost impossible to get any of their albums except for the first (I'd really like to get hold of Dos — do you have any idea whether it's been or is likely to be reissued?). Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 15:21, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Umm. Well, I really don't have all his albums anyway, except probably Greatest Hits (the 1974 version). -- Mike Garcia 15:30, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Mike. I sent you an email last night. The album I meant was Bleed Like Me. Can you please leave a note on the Talk page explaining your reverts. Otherwise people will think you are getting into an edit war. Thanks. Danny 16:23, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi Mike. One question I have is whether the album will be released on the same day in Canada as in the United States. If so, it may be better to write North America. What do you think? Danny 22:27, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- OK. I'll try to better now. -- Mike Garcia 22:32, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Mike, I am going to ask you to please try and be more polite to people. I know you have had a dispute over Bleed Like Me, but I think that you and 81... both believe that you are right. It will be easier for everyone if you talk to him nicely, instead of telling him to go away and not come back. Right now, other people are upset about it too. I am telling you this because I want to help you, and I dont want to see you get in trouble. Please apologize to 81... and try to talk to him about the disagreement. Who knows? He may even agree with your compromise. Danny 23:03, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I came back in August 2004 when I told Jimbo Wales that I wanted to be unbanned and it turned out very well and everybody sure is glad that I'm now doing better than my oldest behavior. -- Mike Garcia 01:29, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
