The Montreal, Portland and Boston Railway was an international railroad in northern Vermont. It ran from the border with Quebec, Canada to Sheldon, Vermont, a distance of approximately 10 miles.

[edit] Beginnings
The branch was built from Frelighsburg, Quebec in 1882 to Sheldon Junction, where it connected to the Portland and Ogdensburg Railroad. However, due to the lack of traffic on the MP&B system as a whole, the tracks were pulled up in 1883.
