MS Kronprins Harald

M/S Kronprins Harald is currently operating for Color Line on the Oslo-Kiel route. The ship was built in 1987 by Wärtsila Turku Shipyard, and has room for 1 458 passengers and 750 cars. In January 2007 Irish Ferries announced they had bought the Kronprins Harald for their Ireland - France service to replace the 1981 built MV Normandy. The vessel will be handed over to Irish Ferries in February and chartered back to Color Line until their new cruise ferry Color Magic enters service. Irish Ferries will take her over in October '07 and following a refit will enter service with Irish Ferries in November' 07
