Muara means Estuary in the Malay and Indonesian language, and is a name given to several locations in Southeast Asia.
- Muara, Brunei is a town in the Brunei and Muara district, Brunei. It contains the country's only deep-water port.
- Muara, Indonesia is also the name of a Batak town located at the southern part of Lake Toba, Indonesia.
