Mukubird (ムクバード Mukubādo?, Mukubird in original Japanese language versions) are one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Mukubird in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]
Mukubird's name is a portmanteau of the Japanese word for White-cheeked Starling (椋鳥 mukudori?) and the English word bird.

Biological characteristics
Mukubird resembles a White-cheeked Starling. Its most prominent feature is the curled crest on its head, similar to that of a lapwing. It has a black and orange colored beak like a quail.
The forehead markings of female Mukubird are smaller than those of the male.
In the video games
Mukubird learns the same moves as its predecessor, Starly, however its stats are better than those of its pre-evolved form.
Mukubird evolves from Starly at level 14; it evolves into Mukuhawk at level 34.
