Multimedia Builder (commonly abbreviated to MMB), is a multimedia authoring application developed by MediaChance for Microsoft Windows. It allows users to quickly and easily develop applications, whether they are CD interfaces, media players, or basic web browsers. The application uses its own scripting language, which is designed to be easy-to-understand and like English.
The program uses a simplified object-oriented interface, which makes it easy for anyone to understand. Users can create interactive GUI elements, and separate their projects into a number of pages. Once the user has completed their project, they are able to compile it into a standalone executable (.exe) file.
[edit] Plugins
A number of plugins are available to extend the functionality of Multimedia Builder, allowing users to create much more powerful programs which are on-a-par with some applications made in professional programming languages, such as C++. This is often because programmers create the plugins using their advanced programming knowledge in order to add functionality to an easy-to-use and user friendly application. Because of this open-endedness, it is possible to create a plugin that will allow Multimedia Builder to do anything within the realms of software development.
