From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Musashi Genshin a retainer of the Ogasawara of Kokura during the Edo period (17th century) of Japan. Genshin, along with Takada Matabei served as Lord Ogasawara Tadasane's primary vassals. There is also a certain quote that had served as respect towards Genshin and Matabei, saying, "We have two eyes, one of which is the best sword and the other the best lance". Even though Genshin was not chosen as to be the one to duel against the famous Miyamoto Musashi, as Matabei had, he used the time as to become one with the art of the sword.
