[edit] Trivia
- One of J.D.'s fantasies involves an imaginary opera singer (played by tenor Bruce Sledge) who steps onscreen and sings the word "Mistake!" whenever J.D. does something stupid. This is a joke borrowed from a stand-up routine by comedian Dana Gould. Though it is never stated during the episode, the episode's end credits reveal the opera singer’s name to be 'Dana Gould.'
- Elliot has relations with another doctor in this episode and begins to make a reputation for being promiscuous, a reputation that she is strangely proud of.
