[edit] Cleanup
Here are some basic suggestions to clean up this article.
1. Please find sources for the information in this article. One can check SOHH.com, MTV.com, the Source, etc., for information relating to this topic.
2. Take out the song lyrics. Simply summarize them and cite it to a reputable source.
3. In the introduction, give a reason why this feud is notable, i.e, the fact that they are two of the most influential and successful artists of any kind to engage in such a public feud.

[edit] Removed Text
I took out all the song lyrics in the article as they are probable copyright violations. To cite to a specific song, simply stating the name of the song should be sufficient. Ramsquire (throw me a line) 23:41, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- I will not revert the work you did for now, but I thought lyrics could be sourced in Wikipedia as part of the Fair Use clause? Am I getting this wrong? If this is the case I shell contact record labels themselves if its possible for the lyrics could be used for such usage. (I am serious, frankly.) Dooly00000 (talk • contribs • count)
- The problem with fair use, and why Wiki doesn't like to get into it, is that there's usually a fine line. So taking two lines may be fair use, but taking a whole verse may be copyright infringment. However, if you get permisssion for its use from the record label, I wouldn't have any problems with them being used, provided they are used properly. - Well, here's copy of my e-mail I sent.
- -Hello, sir or madam.
- I am contacting regarding one of the article in WikiPedia that involves the mentions of lyrics performed by rapper (name here). We are hoping that we can use the rapper mentioned's lyric for the expansion, educational, and scholarly purpose. While the numbers and sets of lyrics that needs to be used are unclear, it is my opinion that these lyrics can be clearly used under Fair Use clause of Copyright Act. However, my associates disagree, and in terms, I would like to see if it's possible to use parts of his lyrics, to be written electronically on the article of the WikiPedia.
- Please send the feed back soon as possible, in ten business days after the receiving, if possible.
- We'll see what happens now. Dooly00000 (talk • contribs • count)
