Nathan Elder
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nathan Elder is a professional footballer, currently playing for Brighton, after 'the Seagulls' paid his former club Billericay Town a small transfer fee, believed to be £10,000, after being impressed with his talent during a match for Ryman League Billericay against non-league rivals Worthing.
During his football career, Elder has also played for his home-town team of Hornchurch, and also played for Aveley, both of whom play in the Ryman League.
Elder officially joined Brighton on 1 January 2007, the start of the transfer window, although the transfer was agreed between both clubs about a week before-hand. He is a 6ft 4ins centre-forward and was given a contract until the end of June 2008.
On 10 January 2007, Elder scored his first goal for the Albion in a Sussex Senior Cup tie against Whitehawk.
